Does anyone out there know of a recording of Bencriscutto's Concertino for Clarinet and wind band?

I have played it a few times now but have never heard anyone else's interpretation of it and would be very interested to see if I'm actually doing this really quite fun piece any justice!!

Happy new Year!

Greetings Gobboboy. You're in luck. I worked with Dr. Ben for years and have a recording of the Concertino that he made with a Japanese wind ensemble at CBDNA several years before he died. Got it from his wife Jean. It was his favorite recording of it. The quality of the copy isn't real great but will tell you what you need to know. After he retired from the U of Minn he worked with a conservatory in Japan for several years. Please e-mail at BIGLCLAR@LL.net with details where to send. I'm happy to help promote the playing of Frank's work. Lon Roach
