Hello
I just received a "Venture Woodwind Mouthpiece Brush" and was wondering if I should use it or if it would harm my mouthpiece. I don't know of anyone who has/uses one, so I'm a little hesitant to use it. Does anyone on the BBoard use a mouthpiece brush, or should I trash it??? Thanks!!!

Don't use it on a Kaspar!
Don't even use it on a B45!
and, I'd venture to say...
Don't even use it on your stock mouthpiece!
These things are way to bristly and coarse to be used on any mouthpiece. The mouthpiece facing is delicate, and any scrapes will most likely affect how it plays.
I use Q-tips (cotton swabs or ear buds I think...) to mop the mouthpiece out! I also make all my students do this too...
