The 250th anniversary of Mozart's birthday is coming on January 27th. I suggest that those who are able should celebrate it with Sabine Meyer and the Tokyo String Quartet and the University of Chicago's Mandel Hall in Chicago (Hyde park area). The concert is at 8:00pm. She is playing the Mozart Quintet K.581.

Well, Hyde Park....despite it's cultural advantage of still having the U.of C. there is not a neighborhood for the less adventurous. Too bad she won't be appearing in "Chicago".....
