 clarinet with cupless pad construction ?

Years ago I saw a vintage (end of the last century) clarinet from England(I suppose,without the standard pads/cups.
The "pads" were elastic and "self-sealing".
Who can help?
P. S. : posted this topic several times, no one knew about it. BTW I saw it in Finland.

If you get a chance to look at a Lyons clarinet you will see an attempt at "cupless" pads. They look as though they came out of a motor car manufacturer's parts bin. The design of the clarinet is also interesting. All injection molded - even the keys. Everything is easily removed and replaceable. Tone sounds a bit thin,
