I made it I made it, I got excepted into the clarinet workshop and young artist wind ensemble!! YAY!!! HOrrar for me!! I also found out today that I get to go to All-State!! yay!! I was 3rd alternate, YAY!!

Congrats. My son went to the BUTI orchestra a couple of years back and really enjoyed himself.

He was in orchestra, not wind ensemble, so there may be some differences; but he benefitted greatly from the quality of the conductors he was exposed to and in interpretation of the music. Not so much advancement in the technical side, but in the quality side.

Ethan Sloane is my clarinet teacher at Boston University...he's terrific. I went to the Clarinet Workshop a few summers ago, and thoroughlly enjoyed myself. Congrats!
