I recently acquired an old clarinet that I'm having trouble finding out any information on. It says made in Italy and has the name Jean Laserre on it.
I have the serial number if it will help. PLEASE let me know if you have any information at all. Thanks.

I thought I had seen every name and stencil, but this is a new one even to me!

Same here, Bill, yes, its prob. a "stencil", S C, made in ?Italy? for sale in the US, with a ?French-sounding name, likely about the 1950's. When Mark C has the time he'll prob. look in his makers dictionary for you. Hope it plays well, enjoy it. Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

I'm a guitarist and know nothing about Clarinets. I can take pictures if anyone would like to take a look and thanks again.

Ben,
Thank you very much, that thread was very interesting. The clarinet that I have looks to be in very good shape but I'm not a player. Thanks again.
