Sunday Chat - 4pm Eastern Daylight Time
Author: Dee
Date:   2000-04-01 15:15

Just a reminder for the weekly chat session. Don't forget the time change. Here's a list for other time zones. I don't know when other countries change so will just put Greenwich Mean Time for now for them. Note I'll be absent this week as our community band is putting on a concert. Have fun everyone.

8pm GMT (also called UTC)
4pm EDT
3pm CDT
2pm MDT
1pm PDT

Not sure when Australia changes either so will not include it for now.

In the time John B and I could be online to chat, there were only a few [some new] chatterers. Likely the daylight savings time change had a lot of our regulars with a non-reset biological clock [like mine], we missed you, Dee!!

Appreciate you holding down the fort when I can't make it but making music takes precedence over talking about music. Our concert went well and the 1st clarinet section all went to dinner afterwards.

Glad to try. Is the clar section still all friends?

Glad to hear you session went OK. Our concert didn,t. We were almost set up when it got very dark and the gazeebo lights came on (automatic). We scampered about gathering up the music folders and loading all the tymponies and percussion as fast as possible. IT POURED! After we got home, I poured about a pint of water from my daughters clarinet case. My poor old contra had to ride in the back of my truck and is still drying. Would have been a good day to play "Stormy Weather" or Strause's "Thunder and Lightning".
