 Minor Scales

Although it is benificial to know all forms of minor scales, what is the most useful form of minor for daily practice?

While I agree with GBK's stance on your question, I would additionally say that the form which requires the most mental flexibility is the melodic minor form because it is different ascending and descending. It is the form we use for All-District and All-State Band tryouts for high schools in Missouri.
