I'm in need of as small of a Bb/A double clarinet case as possible, and I've come across the Yamaha Soft Double Case in my search through past articles on the BBoard, but I can't find any pictures of it anywhere online. If someone can tell me how big this case is or other details I should know about this case, it would be appreciated. Also, if there is another small double case I should know about, that would be helpful (I don't have a specific size I'm looking for, just smaller is better). Thanks.

The Yamaha pro double case is smaller than most, though it is in plywood. I can get both of my full Boehms in there, just a bit of modification to the tray to fit the longer bottom joints, but it's a lot more compact than a Buffet or Selmer double case, and better made and more economically laid out - each section is seperate, not like the Buffet cases where the bells stay on the bottom joints in the case, which can cause the tenons to stick and the cork to shrink. There's even room for a Korg tuner!

There's a photo of the wood shell Yamaha double on page 141 of the new WW&BW catalog (this is the one I think Chris P is talking about).
They also advertise a Yamaha "professional double soft case," but no photo that I could find.

The Yamaha soft case is the size of a laptop case. It is extremely small. Probably the smallest around.

Thank you; if anyone else finds pics online or knows some measurements of the soft Yamaha double case, it would be of help.
