I found this nice clarinet, obviously well made, in a thrift shop. I am playing it but will eventually be interested in selling it. Why have I not seen any others for sale in any classified or auction site? Has anyone ever heard of this?

I believe this is one of the models made by Martin Freres [brothers in French] of Paris [environs], who have made clar's for years, but not widely marketed in the US. It prob. is comparable to the Selmer Signet, Buffet E 11 etc. Best wishes and play well! Don

Gosh NO, D L E, I meant and didn't say it clearly that the E series B's and others were intermediate models, better in general than the student group of cl's, but not of the pro-character of the more costly group. Sorry, Don
