Hi. I am posting not really a topic, but a message to all you Clarinet know-it-all's out there. I am currently practising a wonderful clarinet study, composed by Ludwig Wiedemann. I have no information on this composer except that he is modern, and sounds German. If others would like to write back with some info. on him, I would like that very much.
Thanks - Your about to save me 5 more marks on my exam.
Dave.
(This is a copy of a previous topic which got no repies!)

Dave,
It appears that no-one in this group knows anything about this composer. If they did, you would have got a reply the first time, because we love to show off!
I suggest you do some searching on the net. A good place to start is www.altavista.com. Put in something like:
+Ludwig +Wiedemann Clarinet
This will find any articles that have the words Ludwig and Wiedemann in them, and will put the ones with Clarinet in them at the start of the list.

Tried a quick search using Lycos and found nothing. Have you tried calling the publisherof these studies?

I couldn't find anything either. I looked online and then in my encyclopedia. I don't know, but I think he's German.

Try contacting the clarinet professor at Michigan State University. They might know something. If you search, you may find the answer!
