Hi,
I'm looking for webpages that have images of clarinets, clarinet-players, etc. Cartoons, drawings, old, new, the funkier, the better. I remember poking around on the internet and finding someone's site who had collected a bunch of these images, but I can't find it anymore! Anyone know of any websites like this??

Tom Ridenour's site has some pictures of himself and some of today's famous clarinet players at the OU Symposium. It might help you get to know what these people look like. It has:
George Mellot
Larry Combs
Tom Pulwalski
Francois Kloc
Eddie Daniels
Ricardo Morales
Morrie Backun
Luis Rossi
Ben Armato (He is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! He's very knowledgable too! A great man!)
I was at OU, so I met/saw most of these people there too.
Good luck!

Don't know of any pictures online offhand (I have a book with them), but keep a lookout for quarter tone clarinets and quarter tone double clarinets. Wacky-looking things. Also, look for OLD bassett horns.

Until a few days ago there was an excellent collection of clarinet pictures here, from 2 key baroque up to modern instruments, with all the crazy square basset horns and double-bored Bb+A instruments in between.
I hope it will come back online soon...

google on "clarinet" or "clarinettists" and choose "images", you'll find anything.

Do a google search on "Kokopelli". While technically, I think he played the 'flute', it sure could pass for a clarinet in my eyes!!
I'm still debating of a tattoo of Kokopelli . . . . seriously debating it.
