Does anyone know anything about Charles Neidrich? My friend gave me a CD in which he played Rossini's Introduction, Theme, and Variations. It was PHENOMENONAL! I was hoping I could find out more about him. Any info?

Lots of information via Google.

Note the correct spelling of his last name:

He's phenominal. A virtuoso. And you should have no problem drumming up information about him. If you search on these boards, you'll also come up with some information from masterclasses that he's had and others have reported back from. Definitely a clarinet playing MACHINE!

His nickname was "underdog" at the Bowdoin festival where he taught at. Very mild mannered, but plays a mean clarinet.
