There is a wonderful CD by Eugenia Zukerman (flutist) playing several favorite opera arias. The first one, entitled Flower Duet (Dome epais, le jasmin"), from the opera Lakme by Delibes, is a duet of flute & oboe, with piano accompaniment. I realize that everything one hears on a CD is not available necessarily in sheet music, but I wonder if anyone out there has ever seen this published? I checked with Southern Music and struck out. I would like to perform this with either 2 clarinets or clarinet & flute. I would appreciate any leads. gnj

An easy way would be to buy the vocal score, and transpose the voice parts. It is easily done with an inexpensive program like Noteworthy (obtainable from the Internet as shareware). At least where I live, the choice of operatic music for voice and piano is quite extensive, and as you have noticed, a lot of arias sound very nice on the clarinet.
