 Mitchell Lurie question
Author: jangjiman

Is it just me or do mitchell luries seem way easier to blow than vandoren traditionals. I use vandoren strength 4 and when I bought a mitchell lurie strength 4, it seemed so "thin". The sound had no feeling in it. Maybe it's just me but does anyone else feel that way?

Mitchell Lurie reeds do not run 1 for 1 with the Vandoren Traditional Blue Box.

Mitchell Lurie #4 is slightly softer than a Vandoren blue box #3 1/2.

Mitchell Lurie #5 is much closer to the Vandoren blue box #4 ...GBK
