hey there everyone...i have 2 old r-13's an A and a Bb, the Bb is a 1972 and the A is a 1963....so as you can imagine the keys have been worn down and the finish is gone. so does anyone know where i can get sets of fresh keys for my A and Bb? THANKS

Rather than replacing all the keys (I've never heard of this being done), you should simply have them replated. I have done that with all of my R13s--one in gold, the rest in silver--with excellant results. And it is not as expensive as you might imagine. Also, this is not a "do it yourself" project--mine where all supervised by my local repairperson (Mary, at Ward Brodt Music Mall).

I would suggest having them replated. There is a reasonably priced replater and repairman (I've never met him, but have been told this by several aquaintances) in the Washington, D.C. area. Contact me, if you are interested, and I'll look up his contact information.

Unfortunately it would probably be cheaper to buy a new instrument. You know the pricing for spare parts for anything!!
There would also be a great deal of fitting involved.
