I used the grip for the ligature and was wondering where I could find another one. It's the grip that makes sure the ligature doesn't slip. Anyone know?

I don't know of anywhere you can purchase them separately, but I would think a clear mouthpiece patch would make a suitable substitute for one. You might try that and see how it works!

Wouldn't any kind of non-metallic pad sort of conflict with the Oleg concept?

Bob,
Every new Olegature is furnished with a clear plastic patch, which is meant to be placed on the mouthpiece, underneath the ligature. It looks a lot like a standard clear mouthpiece patch, but a little larger. I always thought they were meant to protect the mouthpiece from scratches, but what do I know. Anyway, since they are provided with the ligature I can't imagine that they would cause any conflict with the Oleg concept.

You know what...I really love this clarinet board. Everyone replies so quickly. There's also people here who have way more experience than me. I've only been playing for about 8 years so it helps to look around this site.

Or electrical tape if you don't want to have to leave the house!
