Does anyone know where I might find such a beast? I need a lyre to put on my bell, because I have an arituculated G# horn, and the two lyres I have are to small to effectively hold themselves on my horn. So, if anyone knows where I can find one big enough to fit around a Selmer 9* bell, please let me know!

German clarinetists use these, they attach to the bell.
Good luck

Hi B C G - I presume we are talking about a soprano cl, not a bass cl, ? In my junk box, I found 2 oversize clamp-rings, [that may be the best way to find these at repair shops]. The one which fits my Selmer C T [1954, P series] bell ring, when open enough to slip on, is 31 mm in diameter, the other is larger yet !! If you cannot find one locally to you, E-M me and I'll snail-mail mine to you. Being too oldt to march anymore and blessed with bifocals or "concert-music" focus glasses, guess I'd just have to memorize rather than read those (*&^%$] folio? size parts. !! Much luck, Don
Thanx, Mark, Don
