Hi I am a intermeditate player, a undecided guy who may want to go into music,it has really been a huge part of my life,especially after I met John Williams. Anyways I have been trying to strength my scales by adding sixteenth note speed to them and sometimes when playing D Major the Altissmo D flubs with the C# and I was just wondering what is the best way to fix that or another fingering for more rapid transition between notes.Also what is the best fingering for the Altissmo C and D. As of late I have been working on Mozart's Concerto in B flat major and it is teaching me alot as far as technically and also good musucianship and flow,though it can be rough to smooth out.Well thanks for responding and God Bless.

I do what some people call "mixed rhythms" on hard technical passages when I practice. If it's a fast run in groups of 4 sixteenths, then I'll practice the notes in rhythms like dotted eighth followed by a sixteenth (repeatedly) or the reverse. Also, I do dotted eighth followed by a triplet of three sixteenths (and the reverse of that) repeated that rhythm through the passage.
The best way to smooth out fast technique, however, is to PRACTICE SLOWLY. Jon Manasse pressed this on me in a master class and it makes a big difference in everything you play. Play every note very deliberately and precisely, making sure that your tone is good on that note, and the transition between each note is as seemless as possible.

It is the undertone and also some of the fingering it is too slow and I wanted to know if there was any faster fingerings for those keys.
