The idea for this thread was inspired by William Fuller’s post in another thread. He said he uses a Legere reed on his Bb soprano when he doubles on bass.
I tend to be obsessive-compulsive about keeping reeds wet, for instance, playing in church in situations where you might sit for twenty minutes and then play one song.
Now I have a bass clarinet and will eventually use both axes in a single performance.
How do the rest of you manage your reeds when you double?

Damp small sponge stuffed into the end of the mouthpiece cap to keep the tip of the reed moist.

Legere reeds on Bass and alto sax.
For Bb, The Francois Louis Lig ( a great lig BTW) has a small plastic reed cap with a felt pad to protect the reed. A couple of drops of water there and I should imagine in very warm and dry climates, the problem of drying out might "evaporate".
Not had too much of a problem with this personally. The Legere reeds are played on bass and sax by preference anyway.
