Hi Don - George mentioned you to me, happy to make acquaintance with another pro-repairer. I've done some more literature and patent research on the "object of our affections" [our McIntyres], and for the BBoard's archives benefit will post them here. I have mine playing quite well [except for the greater finger pressure needed to operate the L H 1st and 2nd fingerings for A and Bb. Another ?shortcoming? is the less-good tonality of the C4#, prob. needs more opening/undercutting-fraizing/hole-enlargement than Thib. provided. Will appreciate any info from you. Is this semi-personal post OK, MC/GBK ?? Don
