Williamsport music scene

I'm going to be going to college next year and am looking at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Just to make it clear, this is not a post meant to say "woe is me, I'm not going to collge for music"

I fully intend to continue playing, I'm just looking at the scene there, in Williamsport and was hoping someone knows about it.

Any Williamsport people around?

There are a great of community bands in eastern pennsylvania, and a few regional orchestras as well. I'm from Allentown, PA and there was tons to do there on the amateur level, especially during the summer. As far as Williamsport, I don't know any specifics.

I'm in Reading, so I am familiar with some of the bands in the eastern area... thanks for the thoughts though
