 Curious-tonsils and tone

I've searched this and I've found a few people mention how their tone changed when they had their tonsils removed. I've only seen 2-3 mentions of this and I would like to hear lots of peoples opinions.

How does our tonsils effect our tone? Does size matter? Do people with their tonsils removed sound different? Has anyone had their tonsils removed during their clarinet journey? How exactly did it change your tone-"brighter", "darker", "pinched", "resonate", etc.?

I have huge tonsils (I honestly mean huge-linebacker, marshmellow man, Fat Albert), but I've never had them taken out because they haven't been a big problem for me. I was wondering if my tone would change if I ever had them out.

A little girl at my church had a lower voice and kind of spitted/lisped when she said her S's. Then she got her tonsils out because she couldn't breath very well and her voice was dramatically higher in pitch after the surgery. I also think that much of her spitty S's were improved as well. It was so weird.

Thanks for helping me with this curiosity!

If you have your sound concept down than your tone should remain the same.

just my hypothesis.
