The site says: "For more information on the Vandoren Signature B45, contact DANSR, at 888-707-4455 or visit us at the summer NAMM show in booth 516."

Dear Ken,

I wish the pompous attitude of this board and frankly you; would just stop! I came here for advise and you treat me as a moron. I called the distributer and was given a list of names. I think I was helped by a guy name Andy and he was the BEST! Maybe you should take note! I called the stores and nobody had one. Thats why I posted my request. Rather than belittle me, maybe you could help... or is that not the nature of this board. I'm confused....Ishi

Dear Mr. Ishikawa,

I see and understand how excited you are about the mouthpiece which you mentioned. But, I've never found this mouthpiece (I know B45 because I used to play one before. ). Maybe, it's not available for sale, yet. I don't know......

I do not think that Ken Shaw is treating you like a moron or anything like that.

I think Ken is pointing out the obvious, IMHO he didn't need to post a reply like that.

I thought Ken's reply was OK. Ishikawa's name does suggest the possibility that his English could be limited, and so his understanding of the page he was reading. Ken was factual and helpful. How are the rest of us supposed to have access to an apparently unobtainable mpc?? Oversensitive people are liable to get irritated by even reasonable replies. At least Ken bothered.

There is a signature of the manufacturer on the side. Otherwise it seems that it is the same mouthpiece as a regular one.

If anyone....serious collectors only, please....is interested, I have one dozen Titlist golf balls with Mr. Titlist's name engraved on them. Best offer considered.

If being pompous is the worst thing I'm ever called, I'll be very happy.

Actually, I'm also deceitful, fraudulent and vile.

Ishikawa Naoki

Ken was just stating the obvious. In future posts, if it looks questionable please assume that it is an honest reply and not a personal attack. This will help to keep the BBoard the awesomely insightful refuge from the rigors of everyday life that many, myself included, have come to enjoy. Thank You.

For sure. I participate in several bulletin boards, and that's always the way to interpret it. If someone is attacking you, they make it completely obvious, and you don't have to try to read between the lines for some hidden meaning. If someone seems abrupt in their answer, it's because they're busy and don't have time to compose a fully-formed paragraph of explanation to help you out, and not because they are being intentionally rude.

May I humbly suggest another possible source of information about Vandoren products?

You could try the Vandore Artists Studio on West 54th Street in New York City. Unfortunately, I don't have the phone number on me right now, but maybe someone else here has it.
