Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had tried out the Lomax Chicago mouthpiece, and what you thought?

I play gigs from time to time with players using Lomax Chicago mouthpieces.
They sound wonderful!

Not a bad sound at all! Would have to try many more though...

a friend of mine in a major symphony just swapped over to one a few months ago (i don't know if he's still using it, but all his other mouthpieces are also Lomax). A friend of mine (also a pro player) went to hear him perform with the orchestra, and thought he sounded great- at that time he'd only been using that mouthpiece for a week.
by the way, i reccently started using a Lomax A3 and have found that for once advertising "hype" is actually true- the mouthpiece is much more reed friendly that any i have used before and reed selection is now far less bother than before.
