I'm trying to find a decent double case (for 2 buffets) that has enough storage for music (I dont have extra barrels, so extra space for those doesnt matter) I would really like something sturdy with a neckstrap so I can easily carry it around. I have checked out wwbw.com and weiner.com but I'm just not sure which one to buy! I like the pro-tec but it didn't get great reviews overall...(ps- $ isn't a huge problem, but I feel like over $100 might be stretching it a bit)
any reccomendations?

I spent months looking for the right double case, and the one thing I can tell you is that you're not likely to find a decent case for less than $100. I bought the BAM Trekking case and I love it, but it was somewhere in the $200 range. The Protec is not a bad case, and it can work pretty well for the budget you have though. That was what I used before I got the BAM, and my only complaints about it were that it was bulky and heavy. I guess it depends on how much you need to carry it around.
My advice is if you can possibly afford it, save up and invest in a BAM or something similar. It's worth the money.

well, my clarinet came with an attache double case, but that doesnt hold music, just 2 instruments, 4 barrels and 2 mp's. However, you might want to get something that can carry a case. I use a wenger carrying bag, not made for carrying a clarinet, but its a perfect fit and carries all my music and stand, etc...i think it was maybe 50 bucks, I don't know since it was a gift.

I highly suggest the BAM Xtra Light double case.
This case is weather resistant, light, sturdy, and definitely protects the clarinets from temperature changes. Some have complained about the zipper quality, but I've had mine for a year and have found no problems whatsoever (and this thing has gone everywhere with me). I reccoment getting the model with backpack straps, as these have made the job of carrying the case, music, a water bottle, and whatever else I might need to haul considerably easier.
Problems that might arise for you:
The case is awfully expensive, but if you have the cash it's worth it with no question.
Space for music is limited. There is an outer pouch to the case that is great for storing various supplies, but might limit the amount of music carried to an etude book or equal thickness.
Other than that, this case can take a beating, and has been worth every penny.

I use a Yamaha lightweight double clarinet case that cost around $120 five years ago. It has ample room for assessories in its cover pouch and limited room for music in its back pouch. It easily carries my orchestra folder if inserted upright. No backstraps, but a comfortable shoulder sling. Good protection, but, as it is a softside, tossing the case into your trunk is not recommended. I love it when trekking through O'Hare International because of its lightness and it is perfect for carry-on. Room for two mpcs and barrels, and the bells store separated from the lower joint. Works well for me.

Go with William's choice. I've been using mine in NYC for years, and have never had a problem with it.

The Buffet double Attache technically has a place for music in the top of the case, but it doesn't hold much. And usually when you buy a double case like that, you want to get an Altieri or Olathe case cover, which makes it easy to carry the case on your shoulder and hold music. I had the double Buffet attache with the Altieri bookbag case, and it was great, but super heavy!
Now I have the double Bam trekking case and I like it a lot. It has an expandable music pouch, and you have a choice of carrying it as a bookbag or as a shoulder bag. I got mine for $200, so if you want to, I can give you the name of the guy I bought it from. Mine is also green, so I'm cool!

I just purchased what appears to be a very well made double case for a colleague from ebay. The name is a Precieux case. Shoulder and back pack, but large extendable side pocket for music, music stand and clarinet spike.
She likes it and it looks good too.
