 a poem

For some reason, I can't seem to get this out of my head, so I thought I'd share it with you:

"The apparition of these faces in the crowd, petals on a wet black bough"

It's by Ezra Pound (in the station of the metro).

Maybe it was the sad events in London, or Tony Pay's postings, or combination of both that made me think of it.

It's also a great metaphor for this bulletin board, if you think about it.

Same feeling I get when I read Tony's posts.
As for London, that is true tragedy. Same as 9-11 here, though smaller scale.
I will never forget standing at the "footprint" of the trade center just days after and smelling the jet fuel, "hearing" the silence and wondering "WHAT'S NEXT?" JG
