 Bravo Clarinet?

I did a search and didn't find reference to this so here's the question:

I ran into a "Bravo" brand Clarinet in a Violin shop the other day (that ought to tell me something I suppose). I've never heard of it and can't find reference to it here or elsewhere. Anybody ever hear of them?

Well, Pappy...

From a quick internet search/browse, I found the Bravo to be another one of those "iffy" CSO's -- in the same category of cheap 'student' horns as Lark, Parrot, Bestler and the like. From a glance, it looks to me like they're pushing soprano saxes more than clarinets. Country of mfgr. hard to determine but China seems as likely as not. Personally, I'd look at something else....

Thanks for the quick response. Wasn't really "interested" in the horn, just curious about where it came from. My quick internet search didn't yield as useful an answer as yours did.

Thanks!
