I was on a business trip to Santiago de Chile this past week and stopped by the Rossi Clarinet "factory" hoping to get a look. Luis welcomed me and gave me a complete tour of his workshop including the lathes, plating area, and keywork shop. He was an incredibly gracious host and I feel lucky to have met him

I learned that he uses some of the same basic materials in his keywork that Wurlitzer uses. I saw all of the components of the keywork, too.
I didn't buy anything, but Luis gave me several CD's in appreciation of the fact that I went out of may way 5000+ mile fromto see his shop. He was really great.
