Does anyone know if recordings exist for #1 in D minor and #1 in F either as CDs or MP3 files? I would like to know what acceptable tempos for the movements are as I've never heard them played before. BTW, for those of you who have never played them, they are really fun pieces of music and parts of one can be downloaded free at http://www.free-scores.com/Download-PDF-Sheet-Music-Crusell.htm

I have a recording by Haken Rosengren of the duets. I am sure you can find it on Amazon or Arkivmusic.com.

Thanks Brandon, by combining Rosengren and Crusell I found the disc on Amazon and ordered it. Now here is another question for everyone.
The music I have does not specify the key of the clarinet, Bb, A, C, etc. However, using Duet #1 in F major as an example we see that it is actually written in the the key of concert F major and hence am I to assume it should be played on a C clarinet.
It's not that it really matters as long as both clarinets are in the same key, I'm just curious.

I have always played them on a Bb too but my duet playing partner is into music theory and raised the question. My teacher hasn't a clue so I was just looking for thoughts on the situation. Too bad there wasn't piano accompaniment for these and then the problem could be resolved.

Perhaps not the most academic response, but I also believe his three concerti are all for Bb clarinet.
