I heard a recording on the radio the other day of Debussy "Reverie" which was arranged for Harp and Oboe; Beautiful! Maybe it could be transposed. Also at sheetmusic plus they offer an arrangement for saxophone and piano that might not be too much problem to wok up for harp & clar.

Composed in Rossini's 17th year (1809), this delightful set of variations, written while a p

"The Victorian Kitchen Garden,", a lovely British piece written about 10 years ago for a TV program about how people used their gardens 150 years ago to create delicious meals. The TV sound track was played by Emma Johnson. I will get the specifics as soon as I get back home from my business trip.

This is a straighforward, pretty sonata in 5 short movements (TV-oblige). It was commissioned as background music for the various portions of the show. Its feel is folksy, pastoral, a little bit newage-ist.

The level of complexity is medium (a few fast runs, some surprising intervals, a lot of work around the breaks, some ppp sections, nice long phrases). I have used the piece to please my audience (it is a reliable crown pleaser), and as an extended study of middle-break and resonance tone control.

Enjoy!

Have you heard that CD Richard Stoltzman made with Harpist Nancy Allen? That might be good for some transcription ideas.
