I am looking for Chadash Clarinet Barrels to buy. I have been asking major music stores in the US, but there is no hope to find one right now. Does anyone know why this kind of thing is happening??
I know it might be the time to find the alternation from other maker......

There are two issues right now. The first is that Buffet Crampon is going through the change-of-ownership process right now, so US inventory dropped until that was completed (which it is). Second is that the Chadash barrels sell out very quickly both in Europe and here. My understanding from Guy is that there is another batch in process, and Buffet tells me they will be back in stock in Sun Valley in the next month, so they would obviously hit the stores shortly thereafter.
And no, it isn't a huge assembly line. Buffet sends barrel blanks to Guy, and he personally puts the bore in each one, and then sends them back to Buffet.

Does anyone know the guys name that is in Delaware? He deals with clarinets and barrels and stuff. Venelli? I can't spell it.
Also try www.weinermusic.com. They might be in stock.
