 Evette Serial Numbers

I have a Bb Clarinet that I am trying to track down its manufacturing date. It is Labled Evette sponcered by Buffet Paris, France. The serial number is 7068. There is no letter prefix on the serial number. I have not been able to find serial numbers for the sponcered by Buffet models.

Jack Kissinger's posting of 10/21/01 says it all. Search using "Evette" and "sponsored".
