Sorry to announce this, but after much probing into the story behind the Hite mouthpieces it appears that only the Premier mouthpieces will be available for clarinetists.
John Moses and I have both tried to no avail to find out whether or not the fine professional level mouthpieces would return. The J& D Hite product line of mouthpieces will probably never return unless Babbitt(who have his equipment) decide to start producing them. They will probably not be anywhere near the excellence of David Hite's work.
Regards

About a week ago, someone was offering 6 NOS Hite D facing mouthpieces on eBay for $34 each. I believe they're all gone now but I managed to get one, and it plays great. (I should have bought them all.)

A pity
I have an M and an H (I think that is the correct designation) tucked away.
Never got to try a D....heard they were very good.

My director bought me a new J & D Hite pro bass clarinet mouthpiece two years ago- or, more correctly, bought the SCHOOL the new mpc when some former bass cl players great idea of "fixing" an old one by glueing the tenon cork part back to it after they broke it finally broke on me. I love this mouthpiece. It just plays so well, and makes my tone 100% better than it was with any mpc i've ever used. Especially if I would have a lot of trouble replacing it, should I try to buy it from my school when I graduate next year?
