 The Optional Eb Key
Author: John Stackpole

It has been mentioned many times, and I have looked at the pictures others have pointed to, but can't spot it.

First of all, which "Eb" are we talking about - the one just up from high C (C5),
which corresponds to Ab below middle C?

Are there any pictures or drawings that show, in a side-by-side manner, the "standard" keys and the setup with the "extra" key.

I presume this is played with the left hand pincky.

Thanks

JDS

go to google.com , click "images" then type first: clarinet auxilary Eb
then: Bb clarinet keys

should bring up a few pictures

BTW, yes, the extra Eb is for the left-hand pinky
