I'm sure many of you all have heard of preferences of 'German' versus 'French' sound. In the past, I have sort of mentally pushed this to the side in an attempt to emphasize the desire for a purely beautiful sound, regardless of what 'nationality' is assigned to it.
What are your opinions on this as far as the existence of a distinct difference? Is a German sound considered more dark and round? Is there a way to influence this tonal difference by adjusting the embouchure?
Hopefully this is making some sort of sense. Sorry if it's not. I'm kind of tired as I type this, lol. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It was an interesting test.
I'd like to do it with the same selections and limited players (or areas such as french, english, german, american) with no variations at all.
