 Shostakovich "Four Waltzes" for fl. cl. & piano

My trio is working on this arrangement/transcription by L. Atoumyan published by Music Rara. I'm guessing it was originally a piano four hands composition, but does anyone have anything definitive about the piece? We'd like to provide some program notes if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

I know that at least one of the waltzes was also arranged for 2 violins and piano by Atovmian. I don't know which one from your set, since I know the "5 Pieces for 2 Violins & Piano" that also uses the tune. If I recall correctly, the piece is actually from a larger orchestral work by Shostakovich, but unfortunately I can't remember which one!
