In order to subscribe to 'The Clarinet' magazine, I joined the ICA through their website. As all the process was complete (I've given my credit card number of course), a box popped up saying they'll confirm my membership and notify to me, I still haven't got the email.
So a little bit worried, I wonder it takes some time to get the membership confirmed? Should I wait more, or should I email the contact person ?

I joined a couple of weeks ago and received my confirmation email immediately -- and this was well after business hours as well. The next day I noticed they're looking for a new executive director. Hard to imagine a change in leadership would affect their electronic confirmation, but who knows. Definitely contact the ICA.

It doesn't. Rose won't be leaving for quite some time (I think October). I was just in contact with her a couple of days ago for something else.

Is the membership worth it? I mean, access to the library is cool, but I want a good publication too...

Silly me. They DID mail me, right afterwards, but it was sorted as spam. Sorry for trouble .
I checked it, got the member number, and wait for the magazine..

The ICA membership is definitely worth it. You're supporting a good organization that's closely involved with Mark's work here, and you have access to the library.
The magazine is worth the very low membership fee. There are things you won't learn much from, such as the workshop descriptions, which basically list what happened. However, there are excellent articles, particularly the long-running series on Keith Stein and Michael Webster's articles on teaching the basics, plus biographies of well-known players.
Everyone should join.
