 Pan American clarinet

I recently aquired a Pan American clarinet from Ebay. It does need some work of course. What I am looking for is can someone possibly tell me how old it is? The serial number is 72573. It came with a Selmer Goldentone 3 mouthpiece which I sterilized a few times. Surprisingly the vintage case is in excellent shape. When I put it together and held it it just felt right in my hands. I can hardly wait to begin playing it after it is fixed. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.. Please feel free to e-mail me at march57313642@yahoo.com Thanks :)
