I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I finally joined the ICA only last week. Figured I'd finally give it a try.
I signed up and received my confirmation email with my member number. But I've received nothing since, and nothing has arrived in my regular mail yet. Should I be on the lookout for anything -- membership cards, pizza coupons, secret password to the ICA Treehouse? Or will I only notice anything when the Clarinet magazine starts arriving?

Ralph, it's not like you've just pledged Delta Delta Delta or anything.
The ICA is an umbrella organization of "clarinet playing" that is primarily of classical orientation, and that concentrates its efforts in that direction. The membership is largely made up of teachers of clarinet and students of clarinet playing. The annual conference is a great way to get overdosed on clarinet playing (but it also showcases much of the best of what there is to be heard, all at one place and without much in the way of distractions). That it shifts around to a variety of venues troubles some folks, but in my eyes it's a good way to better spread the attendance. This year it's to be in central Japan.
You do get a "what's going on in the world of clarinet playing" quarterly journal (The Clarinet), but I find most of the stuff in same to be either writings on unquantifiable issues (like style) or articles that are "bios" of famous clarinet players. Master class articles have some useful hints in them now and then, but so do a variety of other sources. Many of the articles in The Clarinet appear to be of the publish or perish variety, but that's to be expected in any such journal. Still, there's usually something of interest to me in each issue, if only a technical or historical column or feature.
The ICA does support a number of "missions" (such as a literature library available to members, and young artist competitions), so you do get the privilege of feeling good about that. And the annual conferences are great places to meet folks from the "industry". I doubt that I'd ever have eaten dinner with Eddie Daniels had I not belonged (a nice guy, if a somewhat messy eater of roast pig).
I've heard complaints about "What do I get for my membership?" now and then, but then again I hear the same sort of grousing about every such organization that I've belonged to. For what it's worth, I've been a member of ICS/ICA since the late 1970's, and I'm satisfied with what I get.

I wasn't complaining. I was just asking. Now I'll know not to expect a free set of steak knives or anything.

You should get a fedora, trenchcoat, and sunglasses ... no, I'm sorry, that's the CIA.

Am I mistaken, or do ICA members get access to a certain library of musical parts/scores? Maybe I read that wrong (wherever I read it . . . it was a post from a LONG time ago)

No, the Chadash set didn't arrive, but I did get the grab bag 'o goodies. I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say I can now make regular AND criss-cut potatoes with one handy gadget!
