Looking for info: Wood / silver keys. Bell stamped "Godfroy Aine Paris". Below that "Southern California Music Co. Los Angeles". No serial #. Barrel stamped "Made In France". Looks like original Gale mouthpiece. Just had rebuilt. Prox. age, value, quality ?

The Godfroy family was a famous one in La Couture, France, but all the references I see go from ~1760 through ~1850. With the "Southern California Music Co." stamped below I'll hazard a guess that some small company in France took over the name sometime in this century and built clarinets for other companies (a "stencil" clarinet).
The age may be determined somewhat by the key system - Albert, Boehm, etc. The value - ?? I'll guess not a great deal. Quality? You're in the best position to judge I think. Without an age it's hard to determine what we'd be looking at in comparison.

Thanks Mark. My Tech's guess was manufactured by Godfroy and imported or "labeled" by So. Calif. Music Co. From the looks of instrument in original condition and case probably 40's or 50's. Had restored. Plays great.
