What references would one use for suggested fingerings for Brahms pieces such as the Clarinet Quintet?

Which passages in particular? I've only played through the piece once or twice, but I don't recall there being a lot of spots where fingerings are an issue... But like I said, I've only looked at it a few times...

From Robert Williman's great old book, for the high G in the passionate section of the slow movement, use the right ring finger instead of the middle finger. I agree with him that it tunes better and is more stable than the standard fingering on the A clarinet.
