I'm going to a Jazz Festival in Lamberton, MN, and I will see The Noteables, which is an Air Force Jazz Band, tonight. I was wondering if anyone knew if they had any clarinets, or if anyone else has seen them. If you have, what did you think? Our director told us that they were very good.

If you are talking about the "Airmen of Note", they are incredibly good. I don't know what their current "book" is like, but in the past they had doubles for clarinet and bass clarinet (as well as flute and piccolo).

TKS for a reminder to get my [4, for friends!] free tickets to our local {River City] US Air Force "Shades of Blue, Jazz Ensemble [from Colo Sprs??]. In the past several FREE, High-Quality "service band" concerts, we have sold-out full-houses well before concert time, and all have been given our "standing ovations", rite here in the Heartland of USA. Ours is Sat nite 4-16. Don
Thanx, Mark, Don
