Which Buffet?
Author: Lisa

I've had a Buffet clarinet for about 20 years. I recently had its pads replaced, keys polished, etc. Now that I've researched the horn a bit, I'm curious about which model it might be. Is there any way to tell from the serial number?

If the serial number dates it from 1955-onward, and there's no model name anywhere on it, it's an R13. Prior to 1954/55 I don't think there's any way to tell if there's no model name.
