 Fiddler

I'm playing Reed 2 in Fiddler on the Roof. The movie soundtrack is very different in the Bottle dance than what is actually written in the book. I'm sure they had somebody who was familiar with Klezmer music perform it. I would like to be able to play that version and was wondering if anyone has transcribed it.

I've transcribed it and it was a blast to play. I suppose the next question is "How do you get it?"

I recently moved and it's packed in one of many boxes of music. If you have time, you can make a tape from the sound track and start transcribing. It's not a bad way to learn the piece.

I'll start digging, just in case.

On back, I played Reed 3 or 4 on Fid, and really enjoyed watching a fine cl'ist play the Bottle, glad he had it, sure sounded tough!! Don
