HI, for you knowledgable Texans out there. If I were to have to make a decision to major in Music Ed. what you consider to be the better school. Texas Tech or UTSA based solely on their respective music schools. Thanks so much

Not a Texan any more, but I know a couple of grads of UTSA who are very good.

Why not Denton (UNT)?

Tech is excellent, but very large, huge number of students. I'm not familiar with the music program at utsa, despite living here 30 years. I work with several band directors with degrees from TT, they are all excellent teachers.

UNT is excellent, so is TCU (Fort Worth).

I prefer TCU, being a graduate of that fine instutition.
