I tried some about two years ago. I played on a strength 4. I tried these out while playing in Italy. I found that they weren't that consistent with temperature changes. I abandoned them for my V12s which handled the changes a lot better. I also noticed that they didn't last as long as V12s. They sound good right out of the box though. So if you ever need them in a bind they are perfect. It would be worth a try to play on a couple. Your response to them may be much different from mine. Remember that these are only my opinions.

I have used both Vintage and Vintage XL in strength 3. I prefer the Vintage reeds which I find to be both consistent and long lasting.

Give them a go. They're not very expensive.
