Does anyone on the BBoard know of recordings available for either of the "Pocket Size Sonatas" (#1 or# 2) by Alec Templeton? Both of these short, three movement sonatas are fun to play, and they should be musically interesting to general audiences. It might be fun to see who has recorded any/both of them.
Nice spring..............

Jack,
Thanks so much.
I've ordered them both.

I only have a recording of myself playing them in my junior recital. It didn't go too well though.

Mark Walton recorded one of these on Vinyl- released in NZ, i don't know if it went anywhere else and i doubt it was ever re-issued on CD. i will hunt out more details in the morning, will take a few minutes to find and sleep calls

Does anyone remember Tom Martin's performance of #1 at I believe it was Clarinetfest 2000 in Oklahoma? It was one of the best performances I've ever heard.
