 Bay mouthpiece facings

Hello,
Looking for some advice on Bay mouthpiece facings. I've borrowed a friend's H1 M-M Bb mpc to try out, and I like the focus and projection of the sound. However, it is a little wily for my taste. I currently play a 5RV lyre on an R13 and the primary use is pit work for doubling. I'd like some extra oomph I don't get from the 5rv lyre, but I also would prefer to keep using v12 3's if at all possible. Has anyone had experience with the other Bay facings, like the next smallest still in the H1? Or other comparable things would be nice, I suppose...

Thanks
