Greetings,
I myself am quietyly recovering from a newly aquired crack in my clarinet (both the crack and the clarinet are new,) as I see some of the rest of you are. After a few chocolate chip cookies and hugs, I have decided it's going to be o.k.
My question for you summer music junkies out there is, does anyone have any experience with the Texas Music Fest in Houston. It is held at the Moore's school of music and the orchestra rep looks tasty, so I wanted to find out if any of you have some good experiences to share.
Thanks, HeatherK

Enjoy the Houston summer. Nothing beats 100 degree heat, 99 percent humidity, and the dirtiest air in the country - every day is an ozone warning day! At least you'll get to play in a pretty good orchestra while you're here. I spent my college summers playing in Colorado, thankfully.

kia ora Heather
sorry to hear about the crack....
years ago someone told me that "Roundtop is the best festival in Texas" (i'm pretty sure it was a Violinist that told me this). That's about all i can add to the topic, not much more than 5cents worth, if that.
keep playing the good tunes
